A typical kid, living an ordinary life, Gordy dreams big of fame and hoops. With a Dad who's perpetually exhausted; a mum busy with his new little sister; and a distracted uncle, Gordy turns to his friends. Between throwing up tags and shooting baskets, Gordy, Theo and Charlie take bold steps towards their imagined future.
But before they can accept the latest lesson from an old truth, their young lives take a turn into the incredible.
"Time to Fly' symbolises two dominating Adam Monster themes - self-belief through comradery, and keeping it real through good vibes and community. "Time to Fly" is for those who, like Gordy, need to take a leap of faith and follow what's true to them. Adam Monster is a pure example of this mantra and "Time to Fly" represents our leap of faith.
How will Gordy's leap of faith impact his, and The Local Groups', future? As the episodes are released, this will be revealed.
